Where are the CRs?

Je suis ému par le post inaugural de 2015 et ses photos qui sont juste chanmés.
Gros kif, et merci au Squale aux milles frigos de par le monde.

Par contre, que dire de la vibe Parisienne? Je suis témoin pourtant, du CR a été envisagé, et du matos à CR est présent dans la nature.

Donc, en bon handicapé plein d'excuses et de mauvaise foi, je lance un appel matiné de provoc' :
Ça zappe là?!

Je vais devoir montrer l'exemple...

Then a wonderful Boxing Day dinner hosted by McLobstera that I coulldn't have attended without Modus (the unruly photobomber...).

Part II :

New Year's à la Xeum

MC Nelly Nell did the honors of hosting a perfect evening/morning at Répu HQ :

1. A WTF-worthy appartment (my first time there so last year's pics didn't hit me as hard)
2. Peeps galore
3. A half-hijacked gaming night (a special shoutout to Buzz-it + 4 AM poker)
4. Pictures taken by very qualified people that I fail to see on this blog
5. Bubbles!!!!!

 

And to finish things off, MisaFlo rang out the New Year's celebrations in traditional Japanese style (ie, letting sweet Mother Mimosa do all the work ;) )

A certain Trickster God (Loki with a T) is seen here trying to get drunk with any bottle held 1m off the ground. His father Deous is to blame of course.

A l'heure que j'ecris - minuit petante heure de Paname - vous devez etre en train de kiffer chez le Nelson. On that note, enfin un record pour le Secri avec premier post de 2015 non?? Zero et bonne annee a tous. En esperant que vous rencontrerez tous nos gamins en 2015.

EAT, STRAY, PLAY MUTHA FUCKING BOARGAMES DAY !

OK... So, I'm gonna run this idea up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes it....

In order to break from tradition and last years populated bash, the concept this time around is great wining and dining with a select few indviduals (more akin to extended family really) who have known each other since they were kids... and for whom there is absolutely no shame in playing boardgames way into the wee hours of the morning while drinking a grand cru classé 98 and enjoying a nice little soufflette...

This is no- modern child's dream- this is- no- TV screen gaming. This is the bear essence, essence,.... essence.... of the  80's brought into the now. (thank you mister Walken you can waltz on outta here....) - to waltz c'est danser la valse en Anglais, mais communement utiliser pour decrire le fait de partir, ou quitter un lieu.

So I implore the other comittees and ask for leniency in order to throw Zerozap's best gaming party of the year and hopefully emerge from the penalty box with but a few chamelles and some kind of understanding handshake or hug when you leave my place at 5 a.m. Thursday morning..

So there it is, Wednesday is nearly upon us and we've but very little time to prepare. But  such a postponment is to bitter to contemplate.

For those tempted by the idea I would like to propose the following:
Everyone (couples count as 1) comes to Hotel Papa for 7pm with a boardgame of their choosing...  having read and learned the rules in order to explain them coherently along with a combination of food and drink (post in comments in order to avoid doubling up).
Those of you out of boardgames, or who simply want to try new shit out.... I suggest dropping by "Jeux Descartes" they have tons of games ranging from 10 euros to 50 euros... bluff games, story games, board games, dice games...

There you have it... that is my proposition... and that is that... I won't feel bad if you turn it down... i'll just take it as a red card for zappance....

New Years

Here's the teaser.

Notre Nelson sera seul à la maison dans son 300 mètre carré le 31/12 et son idée était de faire péter un zero skwat en bonne et due forme pour se sortir du penalty box. Je nen dis pas plus. il a promis de faire un post.

4th Annual Xmas Amsterdam trip

Ask and you shall receive!!

Puisque que je kiffe vous faire des pre-CR, j'en profite pour partager avec vous le petit weekend qui débutera ce soir! Demain matin nous prenons notre Thalys préféré en direction de Amsterdam Centraal bien tôt le matin pour arriver avant midi. Petit changement dans le logement cette année, nous allons faire des infidélités au Marriott car nous avons opté pour le Amsterdam American Hotel.

Après avoir déposer nos sacs, nous prévoyons de faire un premier arrêt dans un coffee avec un menu très riche:

Puis nous irons déjeuner dans un resto nommé Blue avec une petite vue bien sympa:

Pour ensuite enchaîner avec une deuxième étape relaxante habituelle au:

Et finir notre après-midi avec une activité culturelle très enrichissante (cette fois j’essaierai de ne pas m’asseoir sur le l'art). Ca sera notre première visite au Rijks et on a bien hâte de voir à quoi ressemble le "Louvre d'Amsterdam"

Cave Café ce samedi les amis!

Tout est dit dans le titre, donc chuce à Samedi quoi ...

Hehe, en l'honneur d'un nouvel invité du nouveau monde que vous avez rencontré au mariage et qui est de passage sur Paris ce weekend, j'organise un petit apero au Cave Café (lieu où nous avons festoyé l'anniv de Heather cette année).

Il n'a pas de compte Facebook, donc j'ai du faire une petite recherche googelienne pour trouver qqch et le voyage n'était pas décevant. Mais son vous dévoiler son nom, je vais simplement vous donner des indices et clôturer le débat avec une tof assez fantastique.

- Je connais l'invité depuis plus de 30 ans
- Il vient de Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY
- Il est le petit frère du mec qui nous a remis le dos en place lors du brunch à La Cortille
